I am black with an afro. How can I straighten my hair without relaxer, and wtihout a straightener?

I don't want chemicals in my hair, but I am tired of straightening it with a hot comb/flat iron. Or are there any products that just define the curl pattern to make it more manageable, or even relax them slightly?

I am not sure if you can straighten hair ? I don't have an afro so not sure what is normally done ,but I usually leave in a bit of hair conditioner in my hair and I dries really nicely
