What product (company/brand) should I use before/after I straighten my hair with a flat iron?

I don't mean some type of conditioner/shampoo, but maybe some type of cream or serum?

I did a little research, and apparently L'Or鑼卆l Studio Line Hot Straightening Cream works well, but i wanted some other suggestions and opinions

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum I use it before I flat iron and it is also great for after you straighten

I have thick wavy frizzy hair and it works great

It smooths frizz, conditions hair, and protects hair from heat

Another great thing is it smells like sweet apples

I tried Studio Line Hot Straightening Cream a long time ago and I hated the product so much I didn't bother using it all it went straight to the trash

I use Shine...Works great..take out frizz and make your hair shine :)

You can only use a little dab tho or it will make your hair look oily..

Try Chi straightening spray. Very hard to find but it's light and not messy (unlike the l'oreal cream) and doesn't make hair oily at all

Before you straighten it spray it with some kind of Heat Protectant to your hair so the heat from your straightner wont fry your hair. After you straighten it apply Shine Serum to the ends of your hair. It will prevent split ends and make your ends less dry! Hope i helped! =)

I use Paul Mitchell, seal and shine. It is probably the best there is, according to many hairstylists. It is a spray, which is also better than a cream because it won't oil down you hair or make it feel any different.

I use and highly recommend TIGI S Factor products. They have a product called seriously straight and its for flat ironing and it is wonderful and it smells so good...in fact the entire line smells good. Here is a link you can look at it.

I do the same thing to my hair, but what i use on my hair after I flat Iron it, is hair oil with herbs or Dr.Miracles oil, they both work pretty good, especially if you want your hair to grow.

use herbel essence dead straight shampoo and conditioner, or for a higher price the marc anthony striaght shampoo and conditioner. Then use a hair serum that will have heat protection in it, the best stuff is called happy ending but its proffesional and really expensive, for a budget product just look in the local drug store aisl and they for sure have one, And then to finish use a finishing spray its almost like hairspray but lighter. The loreal studio line hot straightening cream actually does work pretty well it protects ure hair and leaves it shiny! Hoep this helps:)
