I cant straighten my hair properly, please help?

Okayy major problem!! I normaly use abit of wax on my hair to keep it straight, and when it doesnt have any on, it goes really dry and frizzy, and i seems to join together in like a frizz ball thing. So, i wanted to straighten it using hairstraightners.. I waited until my hair was dry, and started to straghten, and its just sent my hair into a fuss bomb again!!!

I conditioned it well just before.

My hair is very thick, and i dont know what to do !!!!

I normally style my fringe down as best i can.

Help anyone?

OK so when you get out of the shower put on some heat protecting spray...then get a blow dryer and blow your hair, but make sure u are blowing down so its a little straighter. Then when it is dry you can straighten it. Split your hair into sections, so you are only straightening 1 small part at a time.. straighten all the sections and your hair will be done! you could spray some anti-frizz stuff on ur hair when ur done! try using FrizzEase!! I also recommend that u buy Andis Ceramic multi-heat straightener!! its the best out there!! and u can do it really fast!! I LOVE it!!

- Make sure you are using a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner. John Frieda, Redken, and Herbal Essences are good.

- Use a ceramic straightener

- Part your hair into sections

I do left side of my head, right side, and then the back (You can use a a hair clip to keep the hair in place)

- You want to keep the straightener moving. This

will decrease the damage.

- If you need to, go over one section more than once.

Why dont you go to your hair salon and ask them to thin your hair down. I used to have thick hair and now its thin I can do so many more things with it.

To stop it getting dry and frizzy, when washing it use a shampoo for frizz. Also before straightening use a heat protecting spray all over your hair and brush through. Then straighten it and use a pea-size amount of wax over your fringe and hair.

first of all apply a frizz control serum while your hair is wet like john Frieda frizz ease... then put your hair in sections after it is dry and start straightening it... if it still gets frizzy put more of the serum on (that's what I love about the frizz ease serum... you can put it on wet or dry hair and it makes it silky and smooth not oily looking) and continue to straighten it... that should do the trick! for extra caution put a little bit more of the serum all over AFTER you are done straightening... and voila!

once u get out of the shower brush it out and then blow it dry if u let it dry by itself it will just frizz out more! trust me i have thick hair too.

well i have coriless straightener and i use tresseme (leave in conditioner) b4 and hairspray after but i have course hair that is relaxed and my hair is really soft and movable,no frizz at all.
