That is a dry straightener should be done on only dry hair and we get dry straightened hair ,while a wet to dry straightener is done on wet hair and thus while doing on wet hair it comes as a dry straightened hair.Also tell me which one makes less damage to hair and which one can be used frequently..that is can we do the straightening without applying any prior or pre creams on our hair before doing it..

absolutely dry! straightening your hair wet is so bad for it!! you don't want to buy a wet-to-dry one, they're crap anyway. the Farouk Chi is the best one for your hair and also the easiest/quickest to use. its pretty pricey around 120 bucks but you can find a new one on ebay for around 70. you also really should use a serum before you straighten your hair. i personally like biosilk's or kerastase olee relax serum...good luck!

if you have bad ends , put like a Frizz-Ease on the ends then straighten it. I use a dry straightener and i blow dry my hair first. Then I use it almost every day

Use a dry straightener. I would spend good money on a nice ceramic dry hair straightener. The better the quality the better your hair will be. Trust me!
