hey yea im a 13 year old guy and i have my hair straighten all the time(im not gay) but how do u make it straight down i have side bangs like emo style i was jw how to make it totally straight any products and products on when i sweat my hair kinda curls is there anything to fix that cause i hate it when it curls im very atheltic play many sports and gym and after i do that its all curly and stuff anyway to fix that helpp will be very appreciated

I'm a guy and i straighten my hair too, because i love it straight (and i have the hair covering the eye thing too)

I'm not sure what products you use, but i'm all Tigi bed head.

I LOVE they're products, and i have a special way of straightening my hair (it works really great)

Shampoo - Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo

Conditioner - Tigi Bed Head Control Freak

Extra - Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Straightening Liquid (not it's real name, but it's part of the Tigi Bed Head Control Freak series)

Hair Straightener - Tigi Bed Head Light Me Up Straightener

Hair Blower - Tigi Bed Head Light Me Up IONIC Hair Blower

All theese products work GREAT (costly though)

They'll have your hair super straight (noticibly) and super soft and flipy! (so you can do the hair flip when it gets over your eye)

Warning: Do not wash hair too long (rinse), because that will just bring back the frizzyness

1.) Shampoo your hair, and let the shampoo soak into your hair for 1-2 mins, this stops the poofyness and frizzyness

2.) Repeat shampoo (shampoo twice) let this one soak for 1-2 minutes too. this will make your hair straight (well the Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo will atleast)

3. Condition - Let that soak in for 1-2 mins as well, this softens the hair, and straightens.

4. TOWEL DRY your hair to a damp feeling (so when you squeeze your hair, not alot of water comes out) this is help stop the frizzyness when your hair dry it

5. Hair Dry It with your hair blower, AT THE SAME TIME comb the section of the hair your drying. (stops poffy and frizzyness) Dry from the top at an angle, so it's blowing hair down, and not all over the place, that will make it ugly and poofy/frizzy. (REMEMBER TO COMB IT WHILE YOU DRY)

6. Straighten your hair, keep it at a heat level that your hair can take, too high will make it ugly and flat. too low will make it frizzy and ugly. i use 250 deg. with the Tigi's and it works perfectly good.

7. If you have a few strands of hair frizzing out, i just use the liquid straighting stuff, i just spray some on my hands, and tap on the part of frizzyiness on my head, and it makes it smooth and straight.

And That's It. It'll take a while to get this perfect, but trust me, it will be as straight as you'll ever want it to be.

get it professionally straightened, like an opposite perm if you will. it will last longer and the weather nor sweating will curl it back up.

The best thing I have ever used is a GHD. It works really well and you can use it everyday without it really damaging your hair because of the ceramic plate. Well worth the money spent!!

you cannot do anything if you sweat because moisture makes hair curly again even if you have perfectly straightened it. you will have to wash and straighten all the time which will ruin your hair or hit the gym less often. You can also have it straigtened at the beauty salon. It is a permanent solution, pretty much like getting curly hair, but it really ruins you hair. I guess you understand now what us girls have to go through all the time.
