I straighten my hair every day and I was wondering how i can keep my hair from going dry?

you should probably apply a gel or cream before straightening it. that protects your hair. go to a drugstore and ask an employee. they can help you.

buy a more expensive iron from www.folica.com

buy a sedu or a solia.

if you buy one of those, basically, your hair will stay straight for a while until you get it wet.

so, using an iron like this, you will only need to straighten your hair twice a week.

use Pantene Pro V - Sleek and Shine.

great for dry hair and makes your hair smelling good all day long.

also, get a trim every month because straightening your hair makes your ends very dry and they split.

if your hair is still dry, apply a little bit of hang lotion through out your hair. (not at the roots, it will make them look greasy).

Get a spray on conditioner (leave-in). I use Dove and it's amazing. I spray as soon as I get out of the shower. Plus, it works as a detangler.

Also, make sure that you are using some sort of heat protector before using your straightener. I would recommend The CHI spray. It protects your hair from the massive heat the straighter puts out on your hair.

Hope this helps!

buy a really nice professional starightening iron - it makes a world of difference. always use a heat protectant when u straighten, and deep condition your hair once a week. even doing all that though, hair was not made to withstand extreme heat...no matter what you do, if you straighten it every day, in a few months or years it will look like straw and feel like cotton candy and be damaged beyond repair and you will have to get it all cut off. ive seen it happen a lot. so try to chill out with the straightener...wear your hair natural. good luck :)
