wen i straighten my hair, it makes my hair very shiny then before...i want to make nice soft curls by usin curlers...but how can i get my hair to shine wen usin them?...my hair is very dull nd bushy, thats why i straighten them...but if i straighten my hair b4 usin the curlers, wud the curls still last long?

my hair is naturally curly but when i want bigger curls...i straighten it first. be sure to use a good conditioner and heat activated products so you don't damage your hair too much from all of the heat.

Yes, what you want to do will work. I have the same issue - dry, thirsty looking hair naturally, but shiny, very nice hair when I flat iron it. I usually flat iron it and then put hot rollers in it. It will create nice loose curls.

if its the style i think u want try straightening the top half of yur hair and then curl the lower half in rollers. if you straighten all of it then it wont hold curl. also try some Paul Mitchell skinny serum. that stuff feels GREAT n yur hair!
