I also have very curly hair that I like to wear straight. What I do is wash my hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Next I work a small amount of Frizz Ease Wind Down straightening cream through my wet hair and blow dry with a large barrel shaped brush. After that I take small sections, starting with those underneath, and straighten with a flat iron.

Get a brush called a 'Paddle brush'. I have very curly hair, and this brush helps make my hair stay straight after i've used the straightners on it, as it just glides evenly through the hair. I got mine from boots, it was 鎷?.00. I know this sounds quite expensive for a brush, but it's worth it! As for the products, you can get shampoo's that make you hair straight. I have 'Sunsilk Straight and Sleek' shampoo and conditioner, and it makes a real difference to my hair, and i especially noticed a difference after using it and then blow drying my hair. You can also get gels that you apply to damp hair, and then you comb your hair as you blow dry. Hopefully these remedies will work for you!!

Good luck xxx

naturally your hair can feel dry and brittle.

depending on how damaged those ends are, you could just go to a salon for a chemical straighten.

If you are happy with the curls, then you can just get a relaxer. its a cream that is kind of like a semi permanant smoother. its gentler on the hair and will not cause so much damage.

you can use styling product, and then straighten it with a GHD, or Paul Brown Hawaii. if you dont have one it would be good to inves in a good one. a good straightening temperature would be around 210 degrees.

MAKE sure you use a heat protector !! e.g delorenzo's extinguish. thats excellent stuff.

but because you have curly hair i would recommend KMS straight thermal protector.

shampoos are important whe relaxing curls too. you could try one in wella BioTouch. its called straight!!

Super Anti-curl by Rusk is probably your best bet. Call your salon and ask them to order it for you. It is only available to professionals. Also, Paul Mitchell's Straight Works is a silicone-based serum that really gets rid of the "frizzies". I use it in the summer when the humidity is high and my hair wants to kink up!
