I have wavy/curly hair and I straighten it but how can I get it to be silky smooth?

I straighten my hair and it looks like my hair is natural straight but I want it to be really straight and silky smooth like this:

How can I achive this?

Well,

I hate to break the news, but some of those "Shiny Smooth" Hair pictures are photoshopped.

But, I do have a solution to mak you hair shinier and smoother.

Wash you hair in the shower, like normal, then turn the water to a colder setting, I would say, A little colder than lukewarm.

Then use your conditioner, and rinse it out with cold water. That usually helps my hair.

Or you can use Olive Oil in your hair, Lemon Juice, or...

I would recomend, Avacado oil.

It is very nutricious and does the job.

I hope that helped...

Get a really good conditioner and also use a smoothing cream or spray before you straighten your hair. It'll leave your hair frizz free, smooth, %26amp; shiny. =)

Hope this helps!

Have any kind of hair treatment like hot oil, hair spa, hair relax,etc...once a month, brush your hair before sleeping and shampoo and condition your hair every other day..Drink a lot of water, take vitamins and exercise.Eat healthy food especially foods that are rich in protein

use an extra moistuizing conditioner every time you wash. i would recommend using tresemme. and before you heat style, use sunsilks (purple kind) detangling spray. it detangles, adds tons of shine, and protects every strand of hair from heat.

i tried this and it worked on me.

good luck!

10 points?

and scratch ur scalp a bit to make sure it stays.

washrinse the conditonetr out with freezing cold water.

Try spraying "spray starch" on it lightly - then straighten it in tiny sections so you can achieve the steamy heat - use the ceramic straighteners only because they are better and healthier as well.

Then smooth on shine serum from any good shampoo company that you like and then spray some shine serum over the other serum.

Blast cold air from your blow dryer over this lightly and then comb lightly.

You should be good to go!

Start with a good conditioner. I use Crema

conditioner by Terax ($22). This is the best conditioner you will ever use, it makes your hair feel like silk, but never weighs it down. Then, you need to use a serum that will smooth, protect, and make your hair shiny. I use Illuminating Serum Crystalli Liquid by AlfaParf ($28). This is really an awesome product. It is a yellow serum that has the consistency of an oil. It smooths your hair, protects it from damage, and it makes your hair really shiny, and it never weighs your hair down. You can put it on when your hair is wet, and again right before you straighten. I also use a CHI iron, ceramic irons are by far the best at achieving that "perfect, silky smooth hair" look.
