If i chemically straighten my hair, how long will it last?

i am going to chemically straighten my hair soon and i was wondering how long they last and how often you have to redo them. And NO i am not going to do it on my own. my cousin is going to do it. she is the best cosmotoligist i know. so don't say do not do it, your are going to mess up your hair. cus she knows what she is doing. so anyways please just answer the question thanks.

If you get a thermal straighening, it will have to be redone every 3-4 months, depending on how curly your hair type is. If its really curly, like mine, I would suggest the Japanese method that only needs to be retouched every 6 months.

If you happen to have very curly hair, it may just turn it into a slight straight wave....nevertheless I think the results will come out fine.

But be warned - If anything goes wrong, like your hair getting overprocessed or starts breaking off, you will have to cut it and start all over to ensure healthy growing hair.

I hope that helps, but still ask your cosmetologist. I would recommend asking a representative from Regis or any well-known salon.

It depends on what package you're going to get.

You usually have to redo it after your hair grows out a couple of inches off the top of your skull.

good luck.

Ask your cousin.

chemically straightening hair last the same amount of time that coloring or highlighting hair lasts, which is the grow out time.
