If it's chemically being straightened you should do that first, wait 2-4 weeks then color it. Otherwise the chemicals will strip your color a few shades lighter.

Ok, if you're going to go and get a 'relaxer' on your hair, youwant to get it done at least 2 weeks before you colour. And depending on the state your hair is in after you relax, use your best judgement to decide when is the best time to colour.
