When I straighten my hair in the mornings, I can never straighten, those hais right next to your forhead, and they always pop up, what should I do?

hair serum is definately your best bet, just put a really tiny bit on your hair to kind of coat it, it makes it really shiny and look really good

i use magic osis anti frizz serum,

but the one by garnier fructis is probably a lil cheaper and it works pretty well too (they have a shine spray which can do the trick too)

my guy cousin uses hairspray to tame his tresses down because his hair gets really puffy because of the humidity in texas. maybe you should try that:D or hair gel:D

use a straightening syrum..it works believe me. i have the same problem. the other thing you may want to invest in is a better straightener..the kind that you can actually get close to your scalp without burning it.

try using some straightening shampoo and conditioner. or some straightening hairspray beofre u straighten. that always helps me, and i have really thick and curly hair. i use rusk thermal str8 hairspray. good luck!

Try using a smaller flat iron and some heat activated spray that us for flat irons, I like the "Soya want flat hair" line by Sexy Hair concepts.

There are all sorts of straightening balms, serums, and shampoos out there--experiment a little and see what works for you. If the hair close to your scalp dries before you can straighten it, rewet it and try again. You can also use some kind of product in specific problem areas such as what you describe.

You should use a styling gel or cream and then straighten it

same happened with me when i blow dryed mines but you need to buy a straightening gel/serum on those parts
