Dont wash your hair everyday, this will help, besides, washing your hair everyday dries your hair out, causing that "poof" effect. You just have to be consistent, striaghten it when you wake up, if you can before you go to bed, striaghten it the next morning, then you can either take your shower that night or continue straightening it that night (which it should be at its straightest) and take a shower the next day. Then, after each time you straighten, take a creamy gel and rub a small amount... remember small, in your hands until i warms up, thenplace your hands at your roots and go down in a motion like you are trying to flatten your hair against your head.

have you tried a flat iron?

you could use a relaxor. eventhough it is made for african american hair i have know white girls who had really curly hair use it.

if money isn't a problem, there is a expensive (like 400 or 600 dollars) treatment you could do. it is at the salon, it keeps your hair striaght for like 6 months. i can't remember what it is called.

good luck

Use a straightening balm.

Also, make sure your hair isnt wet when you straighten it.

Wet hair usually causes poofiness.

Make sure you dont have any gel in your hair either

I used to use a product by Bedhead called Straighten Up. It worked fairly well with helping control frizz and craziness. Straightening it in layers could also help.

If you blowdry your hair I would suggest 2 things;

1] blow downward, it will help with straighting and not give your hair so much body.

2] let your hair air dry naturally for 20 min+ (if you have the time) then blowdry it.
